It looks like Glenn Kessler will pretend he hasn’t muddied accurate Free Beacon reports on Biden’s crack pipes

Previously, we told you about the The new Washington Free Beacon report on the Biden administration by including free crack pipes in their safe smoking kits for addicts. Patrick Hauf, who originally unveiled the story, actually looked for additional hard evidence to support his claims in his February article and found it. A lot.

In February, Washington Post fact checker Glenn Kessler dismissed the Free Beacon story, claiming it “was based on guesswork.”

apologies Connecting to his original story with a big, flashy fix?

No sorry. The best Glenn can handle is tweeting the new Washington Free Beacon article:

Eh, thanks? Suppose? It seems a bit lacking, considering how Kessler used his sizable “fact check” platform to challenge Hauf and Free Beacon’s reporting and integrity.

That’s him. And this is the store he proudly works for:

Don’t count on it. We checked his feed and at least since we published this post, there is nothing like an apology or mea culpa in that.

We leave you with Kessler’s current pinned tweet:

We are quite familiar with the Washington Post Fact Checker’s fact-checking process – it sucks.

Glenn Kessler somehow, but not quite, raises his Pinocchio score over Jen Psaki’s version that “most Republicans want to raise taxes”
