
WASHINGTON – The United States welcomed Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s presidential victory in Philippines and he was looking forward to working with his administration, US Secretary of State Antony rapid he said in a note Wednesday.
“Our special partnership is rooted in a long and deeply intertwined history, shared values and interests, and strong interpersonal bonds”, rapid he said, citing the nation’s role in building a “resilient Indo-Pacific region”.
