The Rams open the season against Bills and have the toughest schedule in the NFL

It’s been nearly two decades since a team repeated themselves as Super Bowl champions, the New England Patriots achieved the feat in the 2003 and 2004 seasons.

NFL programmers didn’t make life easy for the Super Bowl champion rams as they try to repeat.

the rams open against the Buffalo Billsa Super Bowl contender, Thursday night, September 8, at SoFi Stadium.

The 17-game schedule also includes a four-game mid-season stretch that includes a trip to Tampa Bay, a home game against NFC West contender Arizona, and away games to New Orleans and Kansas City. The season ends with an away game in Seattle.

The Rams will play the San Francisco 49ers and the Green Bay Packers on “Monday Night Football” and the Chargers on “Sunday Night Football”.

The Rams play preseason games at SoFi Stadium against the Chargers and the Houston Texans and an away game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Dates and times for these are to be defined.

A match-by-match look at the regular season schedule which, according to last season’s records, is the most difficult in the league. The Rams are off week 7, Sunday is October. 23:

September 8: BUFFALO, 17:20, (Channel 4) – Nothing like a possible Super Bowl preview to start the season. The Bills gave the linebacker $ 51 million guaranteed by Miller leave Los Angeles and put them over the top.

September 18: ATLANTA, 1:05 pm, (Channel 11) – The Falcons chose quarterback Desmond Ridder in an effort to replace the NFL’s most valuable former player Matt Ryan. Yes, this is a reconstruction.

September 25: Arizona, 1:25 pm, (Channel 11) Aaron Donald aiming to repeat last season, when he took over the game at State Farm Stadium and the COVID-ravaged Rams sent the Cardinals into tilt.

October 3: San Francisco, 5:15 pm, (ESPN) – Who would have guessed that quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo would still be with the 49ers – and catcher / running back / wrecker Deebo Samuel would want to get out?

October 9: DALLAS, 13:25, (Channel 11) – Quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott remain the headliners. The Cowboys were 12-5 last season, but they helped their wins against weaker NFC teams.

October 16: CAROLINA, 13:05, (Channel 11) – The last time the Panthers bet Johnny Hecker and offensive lineman Austin Corbett were at SoFi Stadium to celebrate an LVI Super Bowl win with the Rams.

October 30: SAN FRANCISCO, 13:25, (Channel 11) – The 49ers beat the Rams in last season’s finale, but lost the NFC championship match. That won’t stop 49ers fans from conquering SoFi Stadium again.

November 6: Tampa Bay, 1:25 pm, (Channel 2) – The Rams’ win over the Bucs in the playoffs sent Tom Brady into retirement – for weeks. He also caused a collector’s kerfuffle on his final touchdown pass which was not.

November 13: ARIZONA, 13:25, (Channel 11) – Kyler Murray stunned in regular season win at SoFi Stadium. But what seemed like a potential game changer in NFC West has instead vanished in the stretch.

November 20: New Orleans, 10am, (Channel 11) – Rams played at the Superdome in the 2018 playoffs and won the game for the NFC title. Perhaps they will consider reacquisition Nickell Robey Coleman for this meeting.

November 27: Kansas City, 1:25 pm, (Channel 11) – Last time Patrick Mahomes played against Rams, he went for 478 yards and six touchdowns in one epic 54-51 defeat at the Colosseum in 2018.

Dec 4: SEATTLE, 13:05, (Channel 11) – Also with Russel Wilson, the Seahawks have recently had no response for the rush to pass by Donald and the Rams. Drew Lock is unlikely to change that.

Dec 8: LAS VEGAS, 5.15pm, (Prime Video. Local TV TBA) – Stellar receiver Ahead Adams offers quarterback Derek Carr a long-awaited weapon to prove he belongs to the league’s elite quarterbacks.

Dec 19: Green Bay, 5:15 pm, (ESPN / Channel 7) – Let’s be honest: Rams had a break not having to go to Lambeau Field last season. Now they can see Aaron Rodgers without Adams.

Dec 25: DENVER, 1:30 pm, (Channel 2 / Nickelodeon) – The Broncos think Wilson will lead them to Super Bowl a la Peyton Manning. Rams knows Wilson’s strengths and weaknesses like anyone else.

January 1: at CHARGERS, 5:20 pm, (Channel 4) – The Chargers took pages from the Rams’ offseason playbook and stocked the roster with new stars like the linebacker Khalil Mack.

January 7 or 8: in Seattle, TBD, (TBD) – Six times All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner back to the stadium where he starred for 10 seasons before the Seahawks cut him. Do you think he will be very motivated?
