Northwest Pakistan house fire kills at least 10 people

A minimum of 10 individuals, together with girls and kids, had been killed and three others had been injured when a large fireplace broke out early Friday at a picket home in northwest Pakistan, police and rescue employees stated.

The incident occurred in Kohistan, a district within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, stated Taimoor Khan, a provincial catastrophe administration official. He stated the deaths had been brought on by the roof collapsing amid the fireplace.

It was unclear what triggered the blaze and police stated they had been nonetheless investigating.
