NYC Crime: Man needed for alleged kidnapping try of 10-year-old boy aboard Midtown, Manhattan subway prepare

MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) — Police are trying to find a person needed for the alleged kidnapping try of a kid aboard a subway prepare in Manhattan on Wednesday.

The incident occurred round 8:15 a.m., when three siblings, a 16-year-old lady, 15-year-old boy, and a 10-year-old boy, had been touring to highschool on a southbound 2 prepare.

That is when police say a person adopted them on the 149th Road subway station.

The person sat subsequent to the youngsters and whereas approaching the thirty fourth Road subway station in Midtown, the person tugged on the 10-year-old boys pants, grabbed his legs and tried to take him off the prepare whereas saying to the boy, “Get off. That is our cease.”

Luckily, the 10-year-old boy’s siblings intervened and after a battle, the suspect fled the subway station on foot.

He was final seen coming into Penn Station.

No accidents had been reported.
