People ‘can’t be too hard’ on Channel Nine for not recognising Liz Truss

Journalist and commentator James Macpherson says people “can’t be too hard” on Channel Nine hosts Tracy Grimshaw and Peter Overton when they were unable to identify UK Prime Minister Liz Truss.

“I was watching the BBC and when the prime minister of New Zealand walked in, she was acknowledged, when Justin Trudeau walked in, he was acknowledged,” he told Sky News host Rowan Dean.

“But when Anthony Albanese walked in there was dead silence.”
