Strain-Reducing Computer Mouses : Orbit Mouse

Conventional computer mouses are often associated with causing discomfort after long-term use, so the conceptual Orbit Mouse is designed to change this. Designed by Simon Hochleitner, the mouse maintains an ergonomic form and also requires more movement instead of simply relying on the muscles in the hand and forearm. This activates the upper arm, shoulder and pectoral muscles to reduce the instance of repetitive stress that can come with mouse use.

The conceptual Orbit Mouse is held in place using a series of cables, which range in tension from heavy, medium and soft. This will enable the user to customize the mouse functionality according to their specific needs or even change things up to reduce the instance of stress.
