The missing sisters from Sydney were last seen at Marayong train station

A search is underway for two sisters who have disappeared after being last seen at a train station in western Sydney.

There are grave concerns for two sisters from Sydney who were last seen on Saturday at a train station in the western part of the city.

Telykah and Jhayde Edmonds, aged 15 and 14, were last spotted at Marayong Railway Station at around 1pm.

They have not since been able to be located or contacted, police said.

The family and the police have serious concerns about the girls given their age.

Telykah is of Pacific / Maori island appearance, with a lean build and long dark hair. She was last seen wearing a white jumpsuit.

Jhayde is also Pacific Islander / Maori in appearance, with a lean build and long black hair. She was last seen wearing black clothes.

Police said the sisters are known to travel by public transport and frequently frequent the Blacktown, Marayong, Quakers Hill and Riverstone areas.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is encouraged to contact the police.
